except for early on in 2006, i usually buy most of my cels in the december/january months. this year it will probably be once or twice a year, but the updates will be twice as amazing to make up for it...
Way to much to be honest... but it really it all depends on the cels and if there are ones I like to be found. Since CG came into play the prices are considered now as well.

I bought 10 in January and 9 in Feb, but I've slowed down in last couple weeks. So I would say one cel every 1-2 weeks. I'm getting an expensive one in a month so that will deminish the rest of my money for a while
It varies. When I first started, I'd buy a cel everyday or every other day. I bought the majority of my current collection in the first year. I've slowed down quite a bit since then. Couldn't say how often, maybe 1 every week or two? Definitely less.
The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I hear ya! It was so thrilling at first. Something new and fresh. Not that I don't find it just as exciting now, I do. But I've managed to snag so many things I want, I can afford to slow down and still remain content with my collection. The best thing about this hobby is longevity. If you want, you can enjoy it for the rest of your life. I plan to be, and hope to be, a life long collector.

Much agreed! That's why I keep hoping to win the Big Game lotto!
I would love to get as many cels/sketches that I see as wonderful- and there's plenty out there- but hardly ever have the money. When I was working two jobs, I was able to afford a small pile every three months, but now I'm lucky if I can afford two at a low price even in six months! Good news: I just got a raise and promotion. So, maybe I can get back into the swing again.
