I've thought about this for a while, but there are just soooo many that I love that it's impossible to answer. :( I will say, though, that most of my favorites don't make it onto anyone else's list. They're usually some of the least viewed cels in my collection. X| :D

Why? Oh yeah, we were talking about this for a while but there are just soooo many that I love that it is impossible to answer.

This thread has turned up some stunning pieces of art

*the Land Before Time Group and the Ranma and Akane hanken - just WOW!*
Actually most of your favourites are also my favourites from your galleries

I'm going to be the exception that proves the rule. My very favourite cel is certainly not remarkable by any means. But I love her. I think it's because it's a good representation of the character's inner feelings. And I identify with the mood of it more than any other cel in my collection (I like to buy cels that remind me of me :P )

I don't have obvious favorites, but this cel/sketch are near the top:

Cel:
http://terencepage.tripod.com/a646.jpg

I think it captures the mood of the scene very well. Her eyes look like jewels. It took me forever to scan it so that her eyes came out properly.

(This cel has to be in my Favorite Five)

...and this is among my favorite sketches:

(It's got to be in my Favorite Four "sketches")

Sorry...I'm not good at coming up with cel/sketch comments. :(

Wow... that Saikano sketch is amazing~! So very beautiful.

I decided if I had to sell all else and just keep one, it would definitely be this one:

I couldn't decide on just one. It is too hard. There are 2 that I will always have -

My First Cel

Prince Endymion and Princess Serenity

I love them both!

For now, I pick these:

Cel:
http://conri.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv ... mID=179187

Sketch:
http://conri.rubberslug.com/gallery/inv ... mID=226786
I still haven't gotten around to detailed sketch/scene descriptions for this series, but I added a brief one to make it a little more interesting.

Sensei: The cel T-shirt is a great idea...I ought to make one of my own someday.

Keropi: That sketch is amazing every time I see it. I can only imagine how it looks in person.

usamamo: Nice cels you've chosen there. First cels have a special meaning for many people...my first cel isn't nearly as good as yours, but I still wouldn't be able to give it up.

My favorit cel is definitely this one:

It's is not the most beautiful cel I have in my collection, but this cel and this moment in the show is sooooooo marvelous!
I waited to have it since so many years! I'm very very happy to have it now (and I'm a huge fan about Escaflowne) LOL :^^:
their face's expressions are so beautiful and to see Van smilling in the movie is very very rare

And my favorit genga/douga is this one:
Image
Image
Karla from Lodoss War OVA. This character have a so nice chara-design She's very very beautiful (very dark but wonderful)
In this doga I like very much her eyes, they are amazing! (it's more beautiful in real life) and it's Yutaka Minowa who drawn it.

sorry for my bad english T_T
