Time for a little Fist of the North Star as I've been inspired by this series again lately.
Shin taunting Kenshiro, he's such a smug SOB in this scene from the movie; "Only the strong survive, Ken" [words to that effect]. This shot shows his character as his most evil and Ken at his most vaunrable, unable to protect the woman he loves.
