Judging by your rant, I gather that you're happy with your Pretear cel, Tex? LOL. You did good obtaining her, I like that inquisitive expression too that kinda draws you in and react in the same way.

Hee, hee ... yep. I'm very very happy with it. I know it's "just a fancel" ... but this is the best thing I'm going to get, since this show was CG and there seems to be no production artwork to speak of. I've seen a couple of storyboards, which are very tempting, except they're pretty pricey. Plus, I just think it's a beautiful piece. I wish I could paint a cel like that! Sadly ... that's never gonna happen, as I have trouble even drawing stick figures. (LOL)

Well, I'm not a very big Ken fan ... but I can always appreciate a lovely piece of bishie artwork. Plus, his character design in Gluhen is really, really pretty.

Got several via YJ today [Pia Carrot, WordsWorth, Virus Buster Serge] and a special Mandarake one too which closed 10 mins ago [Cyber City].

Also added a couple of impressive Street Fighter Alpha cels to the ol' gallery: Handsome Ryu and Cocky Shun

Thanks to GB for pointing out the Cyber City one because I may have missed it. I spent twice what I hoped to but I made a promise to myself that I'd concentrate on the Kawajiri and Obari artwork and I'd have to sell some cels on Ebay to finance them, heh.
I was undecided if I should really go for this cel but I now I look at it even more, nkowing I've won it, I know I made the right choice; I'd feel bad if I lost it.

Here's the Sengoku cel, worth buying IMO. I'm unsure if the BG is matching, I'll have to double check. It could be correct if it's from the scene where the computers take over while he's watching over the target, Kurokawa. But I thought it was from the moment in the maintenance shaft where he has to destroy the droid that's advancing towards him. hmm...



I wanted to go for this Virus cel because of the harsh lighting and dynamic composition, glad I won it with no competition. There were some Virus OP and nekkid cels from the same seller and there's was a battle for some of them.
Congrats to the lucky winner 'bidder0600' who cleaned up on 2 or 3, including a nice nekkid Platinum Hugen Ordian pan with lushous blue tones. I have a pic if anyones desperate to see. Just PM me and include your email addy.

Congrats on the wonderful SFA cels Krafty!
The "Our Hero Ryu" cel is awesome, I love perspective images like this.

The artwork on both SFA and VBS have the same "feel" as Project ARMS to me.

I'll keep an eye out for your post on the VBS cels.

Thanks for looking MB! You're right, there is a similar feel between these different series and it's that which got me started on Project ARMS! LOL
It might be a while before I add the Virus Buster Collection as some cels are still with SMJ, some with Rinkya and I'm still watching the series ^__^
Mind you, I think I've got a dozen VBS cels next to me here- but you don't want to see them yet...

BTW, I checked that Cyber City etup, the background is not matching.
The cel is from the scene I expected- where he's shooting the duct droid. The BG is from a later scene where a flying vehicle crashes through the skyscraper and uses it's infa-red camera to spot its target- Kurokawa.

I also discovered something VERY interesting and VERY funny in this sequence. I think I'll save it for another thread...

Keropi asked to see the Pia Carrot cels so here they are. Brown hair and blue eyes, it's too much for me to resist! She's got a great hairstyle too- I can't say the same for most anime characters. *ha ha*
I combined these with a Jungle De Ikou cel that the seller had. I should receive these items at the end of the month where they'll be scanned immediately and displayed in the gallery.

Congrats on your win, Krafty! That one is a really beautiful cel, and I'm looking forward to seeing it in your gallery --- along with all the other Virus goodies you've been hoarding away! (And, of course, I mean "hoarding" in a good way, here!) I'm really looking forward to seeing that section when you add it into your gallery. I love the other cels you showcased in here, too, although I'm not familiar with those shows. All of them are really stunning.

I bid on two of the Virus cels that were up. I would have liked to bid on more of them, but I've been kind of bad lately ... so, I didn't feel like I could afford to try for all of the ones that interested me. (That's the usual "song and dance" for this hobby, right? ) Anyhow, I lost one, which was a bummer, but I won this one ... which is awesome, as it's the one I really wanted.



I've been on the look-out for a cel from this sequence for a while now. I'm thrilled to be able to get such a beautiful, emotional one. *happy dance*
