Here we have the beady eyes of Deputy General Sanada, from Platinumhugen Ordian.

When the IMO base is suddenly and deliberately attacked by a mysterious giant Hugen of unknown origins, the first forces to fall before it are those of the American allies (of course!). The American officers immediately decide to retreat

and leave the Hugen, which they have codenamed: “Monster”, to the Japanese military (don’t they remember how ineffectual they were against Godzilla?).

Because the Americans are interested in the secret research going on at the base, they contact Sanada (who even they aren’t too sure about) to look out for their interests while they are away.

The Americans are still giving orders while they are evacuating, and Sanada is saluting and saying that he will take care of everything… and then they turn their backs and (here comes this cel!) his eyes narrow [glow=green]evilly[/glow]! This is a guy with his [shadow=red]own agenda![/shadow]

I can’t say much about this character without spoilers, but in a show that is filled with characters who laugh manically, Sanada has the very best Maniacal Laugh scene!

What an incredible shot of the three-eyed demon. One of the best cels of Hiei around, and the background really sets it off nicely. Amazing find.

This is one of my favourite cels full stop! It's Priss for a start, it's an opening cel for a second. This is my favourite of *all* the opening cels I've ever seen. There's a sence of urgency about which I love.
