There are a lot of cels that I'd never part with in a million years, but the first one to come to mind was this:

I don't usually disclose what I've paid for an item - but this cel is affectionately known to me as my "210 Yen Ken" ... because that's how much I won him for!!!!!!!

Even now, 5 years later - I still grin looking at it. I've had an offer for over $500 for it - but I will NEVER let this go!

And if i'm being perfectly honest - I'd never let any of my Level C, FAKE, Earthian or Gravitation cels going unless it was the most desperate thing in the world.

Your OVA cels of Ken are actually the thing about your gallery that was the most memorable to me. I remembered looking at them years ago, and those cels in particular were still really vivid in my memory after a long break from not hanging around on rubberslug for 3-4 years. They're really super pretty (like most OVA art, dang why does it have to be so hard to find?!)

@ Sky Rat - I know, at the time I was only able to bid something stupid like 2000 jpy and I was so sure that I'd never get the cel that I couldn't even watch the auction ... then when i got the email saying I'd won - I did a total happy dance XD

The OVA cels are notoriously difficult to find >_< - there's one shot I want more than anything, and i've never ever seen any come up (Ken with Aya bleeding ... after he's opened up Aya's top LOL).

I find the OVA cels really weird! They are ridiculously hard to findâ€¦but both times Iâ€™ve found one (I have 2 Omis, though only one is in my gallery yet,) theyâ€™ve managed to be some of the cheapest cels Iâ€™ve bought. Iâ€™m not really sure how that works out, I guess Iâ€™ve just gotten lucky (although not quite as lucky as you were with that Ken, haha.)

I really really want an OVA Yohji or Aya but I suspect if I ever get the chance to acquire one it would cost several times both of my Omi cels put together. I wouldnâ€™t even have a clue where to start on an offer if someone was willing to sell one. Thereâ€™s obviously no consistent market value, lol.

Hehâ€¦your most wanted cel sounds like a really excellent screenshot. Besides from the artwork being so nice, I love the OVA for how it shows them really having a bond beyond their jobs. Iâ€™d really go for any of the scenes that show them caring about each other. I always really liked the bit where (I hope my memoryâ€™s not off, ) Kenâ€™s down and Omiâ€™s holding him, while Aya and Yohji are driving in to rescue them. Looove that part. Now that you mention it though, Iâ€™ve NEVER seen any cels from the OVA with more than one character in them at once. Youâ€™d think thereâ€™d be a few at least already in someoneâ€™s gallery, even if they never come up for sale anymore.

That's pretty cool to me, because it was a gift fromt he actual artist, who is one of my 3 favorite Disney artists. And Disney does not let the comic pages be sold, so I wouldn't be able to replace it if I lost it.
