Yay! We're double sequence-buddies on this one!

And if you like Kato's work on Utena and Tennimon, you might want to check out Tonde Buurin, where she was also Character Designer, as well as the recent Clamp in Wonderland 2 OVA (ditto).

BTW, while Hiromi could be a male first name, I'd always heard Hiromi Kato referred to as "she." Does anyone know for sure?

Yeah, she made me swear on a stack of Hellsing mangas that I would never ever sell or trade it to anyone else, just in case she was in a position to buy it back. The background (custom painted for the cel) is as beautiful as the cel.
