I'm a big fan of collecting backgrounds from shows I love, and so can understand the compulsion. The backgrounds are also a little more important to the story telling that episode.

I do love the Escher-like feel of this episode. While I run into a little competition for the more ornate backgrounds of The Maze, I think I'm the only person insane enough to spend $20 + international shipping for the solid green backgrounds.

Just adding one is small cel is not worth making a whole new thread then I remembered this thread that seems to have been lost and unused for a long time.
I will have to do some serious cleaning when this one gets here from Japan but it was from too important of a scene to let that stand in the way of getting it. Warning (if you have not seen the early part of Ranma 1/2 the description could be a spoiler)

"Rei-Jay" -- I actually like that! Reminds me of the brilliant blue jays we have in our neighborhood. And it is a lovely cel, beautiful pastel colors, and the more significant for being rare.

This one won't go up in my gallery for a month or so -- like Ray.J my collecting has slowed down -- but it is my first Mandarake win in over a year.

This is from a very obscure series by Katayama Shu, Gakuen Benriya Series: Antique Heart OVA. I had been casually looking for cels from this show on and off for many, many years... so this was the first cel that I had ever come across! <3 It's from a very cute scene, too!! <3 <3

This is my newest cel recently. I just finished up my contract with my stupid agency and am now UNEMPLOYED! AHH! I have at least until the end of August to find something new or else I'm really going to be in deep something or other. But then I look at this cel and feel much better...at least for a little while. haha
