Comments with same-sequence items?
What kind of comments do you leave with your same-sequence cels or sketches (especially in your Rubbserslug gallery)?
Do you put the same comments with all your same-sequence cels/sketches or do you use another method?

I left different comment since each of them has different story how I got
For example:

and

I think I'll just copy my comments over to most (or all) of them.
I usually can't come up with different things to say about each one if I bought them in the same time batch. If I leave a comment with only one of them, you'd have to click all the items and hope to find the one with the comment. If the comment is exactly the same for all of them, then you probably clicked each item for little reason.
Either way wastes the viewers time, but I think the second option is the better of the two.
Sometimes you just have nothing to say.

After writing hundreds of comments for artwork, I usually run out of stuff to say, especially for the 'duplicates'. In those cases I often say nothing otherwise it'll be a description of the cel which is stupid because we can all see what it is!
In a way, this point was raised in the recent Open House feedback I received.
I tend to leave some comments for the best and worse pieces. It's easy to write something about the top artwork because you can explain why you're excited about it and tell a little story about how it was acquired etc. I like to add something for the crap ones in order to make the viewers' visit to that piece worthwhile. Even the poor art has redeeming features!
Keropi, copying and pasting your text into the sequence-mates sounds good.
But if you do it too often, I think that's cheating a little.

I try to only post same-sequence sketches separately if they inspire different comments about what is occuring in the scene and/or comments about the parts of the production process that are evident in the sketches.
If I can't compose different comments, I put together an animated GIF or (if there are only a few sketches) I stick the second and third sketches in the Rubberslug sketch slots and include them in the comment.
I only have sketch sequences now, but I used to have three sets of partial cel sequences--I animated two (placing a still jpeg in the sketch slot), but only had two cels in the third.

I tend to cheat by posting the same or nearly the same comments for sequence mates. It can be difficult to come up with an original statement for more than one cel from the same scene. However, I'd rather see a repeated comment than no comment at all. You never know which cels a visitor might click on, so it's considerate to provide some commentary for each and every cel.

This is a very interesting topic, currently in my gallery (soon to be more) I really only have two of the same sequence and I just basically say what I like about that certain shot and if I have enough willpower explaining a bit about its features etc.

I put a description of what happens in the whole cut in the first one (earliest sequence number), then in the following ones I'm commenting on each cel or sketch individually. I figure that if I post something, then I ought to justify with my comments taking up RS's virtual space with the image. This mostly has to do with sketch sets, where I like to put up a selection but not the whole pack of paper.
This can be interesting, to me anyhow: see my comments on how Toei flirted with fanservice, then finally opted to suppress it in this series of sketches from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne.
Or, for sequence-mates in cels, this nifty CCS set of Meilin battling The Fight Card.
(Both of these link to the first one in the series: use the "next" function to see the rest.)
In general, though, if I have nothing to say about something, I don't post it. But then, like Kero-chan, I've never been accused of being reticent.

As many others have pointed out, I generally try to leave something new to comment on the new cel, even though they are close sequence mates. There are a few cels of mine where I just cannot think of another comment to add, so I'll just copy & paste the comments from the other sequence mate.
I love reading comments, and I always encourage them in other galleries. I like reading about how they were aquired, whether or not it's been a hunt to get the cel (like either a wishlist or a cel you just had to have) and what is going on in the scene. It just gives cels more of a story to it than just posting it up and not really having anything said about the piece.
