As far as that best cel I haven't managed to snag....that ever elusive Cooan henshin cel. I've lost two cels from her henshin sequence, both times just happened to be times when I was broke...and I mean broke. I hope it will happen for me someday!

There are actually 4 that I absolutely love, and 3 of them I'll be uploading tomorrow.

One is a henshin, another is from the R movie, one is an opening and another is from a death scene.

I'll update with the links tomorrow once I get them updated!

Hope the Holidays were wonderful to you all.

My favorite cel of all times, in my own collection is... the beginning of Kaori's Henshin into the Black Dress form. The colors are way dramatic, and the matching BG just makes it pop!

My 2nd cel is of Tellu, from the Witches 5. I felt like a stalker with this cel set-up. I watched it go to a few different collectors over the years. Finally when the last owner started taking offers... I popped the question! How much!? lol. Again, this is just one of those cels that since it's such a complete set-up and awesome scene in the series... you just get wow'd! Well, atleast I do. lol

i love all of my artwork--i try not to play favorites. each cel i choose reflects a sense of my personality and aesthetic taste. each one tells a story for me at the time of acquirement. maybe i was perky, maybe i felt like showing off the sinister and sexy side of myself----the death pan or the M9 profancel would be a good example---or maybe i was feeling nostalgic.

each piece is dear to me and those with the words "dream" or "wishlist" in their intros would take either an amazing trade or offer for me to consider parting with them.

I'm in the same boat as ginga

I try to buy cels that appeal me. It's difficult for me to put a finger on why I like the ones I do. Some of my cels show excellent emotion. Other cels that I own feature gorgeous colors. And still others highlight that character, or are the pinnacle cel that I think best shows off the personality of that character.

As pictures show more than words, perhaps it's best I give an example -

This cel is a nice illustration of Chibimoon and Sailormoon's relationship. I always loved this moment of this henshin sequence because it features the future Sailormoon glancing at the present Sailormoon - a kind of past/present/future theme. The fact that the cel is in superb condition and comes with original matching background merely heightens its appeal.
