Funny and frustrating...

So, I was perusing the internet when I stumbled across a website that has synopses of the various BubbleGum Crisis and Crash OVA series episodes, and which has illustrated these predominantly with cropped versions of cels from my gallery. Here is the website:

Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool to have someone think so highly of the images in my collection. But I was taken aback when on the "Notes & Contact Me" page of the site, I found this paragraph.

"Please do not take images from this site, allot [sic] of work goes into preparing a site link [sic] this, and finding stolen graphics on other peoples websites is infuriating."

Seems more than a little hypocritical to me.

I kind of want to contact this person and fuss at them that if they're going to use my images, they should encourage others to do the same. Would you?

I would contact them to at least mention it...I'm not a big fan of hypocrits...still I think it is kinda cool they think so highly of your images.

I'd contact him. I hate people being hypocritical.

I'd contact them about the image use, personally. Perhaps ask why they didn't ask for your permission when they so blatantly don't like the same thing happening to them.

oh, you should definitely contact them...

and request that they credit your beautiful collection as well. no doubt in my mind.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I will be contacting the site soon. I'll let everyone know what the webmaster has to say for himself...

Nice idea about the message board, Nene, I hadn't thought of that. Nothing like the internet community to shame someone into action!
