Worse, a lot of the reviewers, especially those for ANN, really dislike the new Funimation release. It's a shame, as the series is really very clever, thanks to scripts by one of the creators of
Rozen Maiden. But, alas, it is truly for and about older children, not high-schoolers, and so people who weren't in the trenches with kids of this age, with all the genuine conflict and pain that comes with this "age of

innocence" just don't get it.
