VE Gallery Special Release of Production Art

Post by toonybabe »

As if there wasn't enough amazing production art available right now with Mandarake's BWA, Van Eaton Galleries has just released a motherload of American animation production art:

Wow - some great pieces, with some WOW prices.

Gives you a feel for what Star-Phoenix has
paid for some of her artwork.

Ouch! X|

I saw one cel that I think I could afford, but not right now. Maybe in a couple of months if it's still there I'll go for it.

Disney cels are in a whole 'nother league!

Those are some gorgeous pieces, and the prices are very reasonable. I would have totally jumped on some of them, especially that Sleeping beauty one, if I already have not been involved in a transaction. 8O 8O

I think the prices for some of those cels are reasonable. Especially that group shot from who framed roger rabbit.

I've purchased several things from Van Eaton, and from my experience they are great to deal with.

Egads...that wicked queen cel from snow white is amazing. But the one that stole my heart was the grinch! If only...

nida beat me on commmenting about hoshi's disney purchases.

yes, they are gorgeous but i'm glad i'm not into disney.

true, i grew up with disney but i prefer the looney tunes characters more for some odd reason.

good luck if anyone is going to buy.

I was wondering if you were going for anything Star-Phoenix. That Sleeping Beauty took my breath away AND its signed by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnson.
