Interesting eBay finding...my art on a button :)

I found this more funny than anything, and figure it might be of some amusement...

I was doing a regular ol' eBay search this afternoon, and saw this button for sale:

Interestingly enough, it looks like that image is taken directly from my RS page:

Note the same backgrounds on each...I know it's taken directly from my image because that's not the production-mathcing background. It's close, but it's not matching...I selected it from by bg bank and used for this cel because it's darned close, but definitely not identical.

I'm confident this happens ALL the time (particularly for those of you with extensive collections and lovely scans); nevertheless, this is a first for me!

I have seen lots of people rip things from other people's galleries and sell their images on merchandise. I used to see my Anime cels sell on bags, shirts, and lots of fan cels made for resale. I would contact Ebay directly about this and show them where this image was taken from your gallery. They should have it removed.

They now have a customer support phone number you can talk to a live representative. Some of them are actually helpful.
