And where should i stay when going to Kusatsu? I plan on going to takasaki to make Daruma dolls then continuing on to Kusatsu where I will spend the rest of one day, spend time in an onsen, sleep the night, then the next day go to Mt. Yesterday I purchased a JR east pass for the last 4-5 days of my trip so i can get around tokyo and then get to kusatsu.

Leaving on Sunday so just a last couple of things. It was suggestedI get an extra bag. Any reason why I shouldn't wait til I get to Japan to buy the bag? Is baggage more expensive in Japan?
