anyone showing up at Anime Boston?

Post by hgeek23 »

I was hoping to meet a collector or two, see what other collectors are like in person. Never met one before.
Let me know if you plan on being at AB!

I won't be to that one, but I always do some panels at AnimeNext, which is in June 6-8, 2014 in Somerset, NJ (near New Brunswick). This year one of them will be focused on collecting animation art (cels and sketches). Maybe not too far? It doesn't put much emphasis on guests, but always fields a strong set of panels on interesting topics.

I should have read here first.... I went to Anime Boston and would have brought a show and tell cel book if I had known other collectors were going to be there. ^_^ As it was, I was surrounded by many staring at Asylum Anime's booth who hadn't the first clue about cels or genga. ....and Curt will explain to whoever wants to listen for however long it takes. I'm jealous of his endless energy!! ^_^

My sister says I should run another cel collector's panel, like the ones I helped with the first two years. Scary thought!! (*LOL*) ^_^
