That's a good question. It's been a while now, but I think I asked about my cel collection being covered by the renter's insurance policy & the thought process was no, due to the value of what I wanted to insure. Since, I have had a separate art rider for it, which isn't very expensive (Note: I have all my insurance through the same company, so I get some kind of multi policy discount, so mileage may vary on that front.)

It probably depends on the company/policy that you end up getting. I'd read through the renter's policy with a fine toothed comb, then contact an agent to confirm.

I am almost 99.9% sure most companies do not. For art, it usually requires a separate plan that have to be approved by the insurance company.
