Is anyone here familiar with the newly released video game for PC and XBox One, Cuphead? It is a throwback to 1930's animation and is a very pretty game. The characters were all hand-drawn using paper and pencil. The backgrounds were all water-colored. And even the soundtrack was jazz recorded live. Unfortunately, it was all colored digitally, so cels weren't used, but it's still very cool that the artwork for the entire game does exist in physical form, even if just in pencil (and watercolor for the backgrounds).

Here's an animation compilation showing the characters being drawn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXpvF9Z2gG8
And here's a panel discussing the animation process for the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RmGb-jU3uVQ
Pretty amazing stuff in my opinion! Unfortunately I don't own an XB1, nor do I game on my PC because my laptop is woefully weak, but if this ever gets ported to the PS4 I'll be all over it!
