Hatenkou Yuugi (aka Dazzle or "The Unprecedented Game") is a new anime for me, but you make a very good case for giving it a look with your extensive and well-focused collection. Fine images, great notes. It would be interesting to see who the artists were. I see that the character designer, Norikatsu Nakano, is a relative newcomer with some work for important projects in his resume (Haibane Renmei, Higurashi, GitS, etc.

This one appealed to me for the same reasons as it did to you: a very spare approach, but emotionally impressive.

it is nearly impossible to choose just one cel from this
collection, this gallery has always been one of my favorites to visit, browse and learn
an interesting viewpoint on countless series :cheers
