This is a nicely posed and awesome action shot.

The line of fire from her left hand really helps to give you the feeling that she's just whipped herself around. Her black hair flying up in the other direction gives a dark color for her white gloved hand and forearm to stand out from. And, the black lines on the background, combined with the airbrushed lighting effect, and the line of fire, further draws your attention to her left hand.

Almost picked the one next door with the big tearful eyes and the battered flower. But this one shows Ayame in li'l girl/badass mode, almost ready to burst the doorway between Inuyashaland and the world of Mononoke-Hime.
