Which is better? Updating sooner or later?

I opted for the second choice. I like looking at galleries that update a few at time. There's nothing wrong with major updates either. I personally don't like one cel wonders. I understand some people don't collect frequently by choice or lack of funds so they have to do one at a time. But those can be tiresome if it's one every week. A wishlist cel is another story.
