Yay! My first Hentai cel...sort of. And a question...

In terms of the uncensored versions, I thought Kite was actually better than Mezzo. The sex/rape scenes in it had a real connection to the story, unlike the scenes in Mezzo. If you leave out those scenes in Mezzo, no big loss to the coherency of the story. If you left them out of Kite, the story would not have as much impact regarding the ending.

I agree 100%. When I watched Kite, it was a censored version. At the end,
I was confused about parts of the story. Then, I was reading online, found
a list of cut scenes from the version and realized "Ah! It makes a lot more
sense now!".

The scenes in Mezzo Forte, however, were completely unnecessary. Only
served to show the fetish that the creators had for relationships between
underaged females and much older men. Baakay had downloaded the
cut version of it without realizing that there was a uncensored version
(much as I had done for Kite) and my comment to her was that she
hadn't missed a thing.

Going back to the main topic, I have cels from Kite, Mezzo Forte and
Wordsworth because I love the designs on them. So, I don't have any
qualms about buying cels from hentai series. Though, the cels that I
do have are quite tame and you wouldn't know they come from a
hentai series. In fact, I have more nudity in cels from non-hentai shows.

I'm a big fan of this genre and have several favourite titles- Angel Blade, Mezzo Fote, KITE, Viper GTS, Bondage Game, Mother Sister, Bible Black. Like many of you said, the character designs and art style are often better than the other types and I'm looking for cels rom Viper GTS- has anyone heard of this one?
I'd class hentai cels as cels which depict nudity/sexual activity and not just images from an H series. As such my first hentai cel was of Mikura from Mezzo, kindly sold to me by Jon (as mentioned in his post).
The first cel I bought from a hentai film was KITE.

It's often difficult to find such cels in the west because they're not well known/described so they're usually not labelled with the correct name if at all. Maybe they are also snapped up by Japanese fans before they get sold on? I've not seen any cels from Hentai I've watched before (excluding the Umetsu ones) which is a shame.

Can anyone tell me how to find hentai cels on YHJ. I admit I use animechaos and even with their translation on every page, I'm still stumbling around!

I dont' even know how to change a search to ending soonest-do they even have this option?

The most disturbing one I've seen is probably Urotsokoduji. Loved it and was deeply disturbed...but I can't wait to watch more!

I bought a guide on adult anime films and that's been really interesting. Funny, too, since I've seen quite a few films in there, and I never considered them bad. However, there are sooo many I haven't seen! I can't believe I still haven't seen Wordsworth!

I think hentai is great...but then I think porn in general is great! The stories tend to be pretty lame...but the situations are hilarious! And the things they do! You'll never see tentacle sex in a porno like you will in an anime! Like night shift nurses....I know what it is....hentai films are able to go beyond reality. The viewer isn't tied down. You can have the fantasy...the aliens...the dumb nurse...and it WORKS.



And I'm really curious about the person with the badguy hentai cel they sold to soda...was it from Apocolypse Zero??? I absolutely adored that film! And it had the most *fantastic* baddies I've ever ever ever seen!
Like the fat monster lady with a painted face...who wore nothing but leather and spikes? She pulled a guys face off and sewed it over her n*pple. Have you ever seen anything so ridiculous? I laughed so much, we actually invited four other guys over to watch it with us.

My friend Leo refuses to watch Anime, and Overfiend is the reason why. That was the first and last Anime he ever watched.

I don't have much of a problem with porn or hentai, but then again I'm a heathen with the moral compass of an alley cat. I find hentai very interesting because of the animation and situations. If you really look at it, it is a very telling illustration of the deep rooted revulsion and fascination that Japanese society has with overt sexuality. All the women are portrayed as beautiful and tempting, and the men/monster/demon are portrayed as either oafish, perverted, or downright nauseating to look at in terms of a sexual being. I chose hentai as a topic in my now defunct Anime class and the class ate it up. It's a great topic to explore in an Anthropological sense.

I've seen Apocolypse zero (what a mind trip) and the bad guy was not from that anime. I don't think AZ was hentai though. Weird and violent but not hentai. Maybe I had the wrong version.

no I personally wouldn't call AZ hentai. Disturbing and weird, but not hentai.

However, based on some people's opinion of how far is too far to be *mainstream*...I would definately put AZ there.

yeah... way out of the mainstream. Although there is a woman character in there that would make a great addition to my cel collection. It's the female form of the huge clown. I seem to remember a scene in which she is trying to seduce the main character. Then of course the storyline goes waaay bizarre.

Thanks for your reply BlueHeaven, I didn't know there was a speciality section for hentai cels. As you say, you need a Yahoo ID which is pretty crappy because I don't have one I can't justify buying one via Celga either because I'd only browse this stuff occasionally.

I have just emailed Rinkya (who I joined up with last month) to see if they can grant me access to this section. Failing that, could anyone help me out? Don't want to sound like a newbie trying to scrounge everything he can and I know you don't know me, but I'd apreciate someone's help with this. Well, I just so happened to find a perfect cel of the two as kids from the flashback sequence, with a matching background. To say the least, I am excited.

Congratulations on getting that cel! I knew that cel was from Shin Angel, but I didn't know who the characters on it were. I seen the first two episodes of Shin Angel, but have never gotten around to watching the rest of it. That cel looked like it came from such an amusing scene.

And to make this a better thread, does anyone want to share their first hentai cel? Do you still own it?

I voted option two. I have seen quite a few hentai series, but most of it I can either take it or leave it. Only a few shows really intrigued me enough to want cels from them.

I voted for option one. But to be honest I haven't found too many "hentai" anime to be very memorable (only six of them would even make my favorite anime list). The adult anime I mainly try to see were the ones that were based off games. Generally the more romantic and dramatic the "hentai" anime, the more I tend to like it. I'm less into comedic, tentacle, blackmailing-types of adult anime.

My first hentai cel was from Kite. Nothing naughty. I still have it in my gallery. One of these days, I'm going to watch the uncut version. Just haven't gotten around to it. It's on my list so they say.

But my second one I sold. It was from New Angel. It was a sequence mate to Shampoo's. But they were a bit more into it. Someone here at beta has it now.
