I'm glad to see someone else is watching Zipang. I was so happy when subbed episodes started appearing again. All of the usual potential complications of this sort of show apply, but the thing is just so well done!

Like Emma...not the usual sort of anime at all but just really good.

I would have mentioned Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan also, but it didn't feel quite like an "ongoing series" with the OVAs coming out every couple of months or so and only one batch out so far. But I would have had it in my list too.

Me being an alternate history nut and having some interest in World War II...there was no way for me NOT to watch an anime like that. I even went out and downloaded the raws through really slow methods in order to finish watching the series.
