DN Angel anime-Anyone here seen it?

Post by naria »

After having read a bit of the DN Angel manga and loving it, I'm really rather interested in the anime series now. I've seen the 1st episode from a preview disc and liked it. But wanted to know if the series continues in a good way. They changed some things around in that 1st episode from what was in the manga, I assume they continue to do that through the other episodes. So, if anyone has any feedback, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Watch it! I like the series. But I am biased because I have a thing for Dark :D

I love both the manga and the tv series, it's definately worth watching the series but the two are very different (actually that's probably why I like the series so much, most of it's new). And just to give Daisuke some love, soooo cute! :hitting:

I'm currently partway through both the manga and anime. I've enjoyed it so far.

I wouldn't say that it's the greatest anime ever made, but it is adorable and quite irresistible. Definitely a fun watch! :)

I can't speak for the manga since I haven't read any of it, but I've heard many people that like the manga a lot more than the anime. They've said they didn't like the things in the anime that were different from the manga.

That having been said...I just got through posting a couple days ago on another message board about how D.N.Angel is in my top five favorite anime that I seen from the last two years. And by "favorite anime" I mean anime I can rewatch the easiest and still enjoy it for it emotionally for its moments. That's how I judge what my favorite anime is.

So yeah...I like it. :^^:

:) Thanks for the feedback, everyone! It sounds like I'm going to break down and start buying the dvds. It's only 6 volumes, right? Thanks again!

I have seen the anime and I'm now reading the manga as it comes out.

I have to agree my favorite is Dark Mousy, but Daisuke is a great character too. The manga and anime have different storylines, but most of the anime is in the manga so far, just not in the same order. The manga has a lot more detail to it.

So, yes it's worth seeing and reading.

I have read the manga and seen the anime, and enjoyed both. The anime definately is good but as several people have already pointed out as animes go this one doesnt really do anything to stand out, especially so if you have already read the manga. Overall I favour the manga, which I have since reread, but the anime is still worth a watch (however if you have the choice I would rent it instead of buying it).

Thanks for the info, everyone! Since I'm in need of a new anime series, this is going to be the one. Just curious though, does it jump around from the manga a bit? Or does it only go up to a certain volume with the manga?
