Best fansubbers?

Post by Remi »

Everyone has their personal preferences I know. In general, if a show I want to watch is being subbed by Anime-Keep, ANBU or AonE, I'll always download it with them because I like their translations, timing and style.

Since there are tons of shows out there not subbed by the above, I'm curious what other fansub groups people would rate as really top-notch. Sometimes there's no choice and you take whoever is subbing, but if anyone has a fansub group or two they think are really phenomenal, please share!

The ones listed above are always very good, as is Anime-Kraze.

Of course I'm going to plug Live-evil as well, since I work for them. We may get Tsubasa out fast, but I assure you, we don't sacrifice quality. Every episode gets checked by at least 4 different people for errors-- my job is to double-check the translation, and we have other QCers who check the grammar and spelling.

We put in a lot of work on Saturday nights so you guys can have your CLAMP fix.

Indeed, and I love you for it. Hehe.

As long as the grammar is good and the font doesn't make my head explode, I like the fansubber. For preference, I like all the ones already listed, plus Crossfade, Anime-Forever, and Anime-Fin (for DVD goodness).

I'm going to also have to do a shameless plug for my fansubbing group, Shinsen-subs. But the other groups I mainly frequent are AnimeOne, Kaizoku-fansubs (for my One Piece goodness!), and Anime-Kraze. Oh and of course Bleach-Society for my Bleach goodness. :P

You guys pretty much named them all.

The other ones that I can throw in is Okoi^Sugoi & ArabDreamers, who are the only ones I know of that are doing the translation for Basilisk 9 & up.
