Hmm... Being a Korean myself, I might have watched it though I'm not sure... Isn't it also known as Winter Sonata or something like that? If so, that drama is a couple of years old and it is indeed very famous in Asia. :)

my luck that I looked at this thread! Thanks kenshikenji for the tipp, otherwise I would have never heard of it.
I just finished watching episode one and I feel that this show has a great potencial. I really like the way they´ve started it (to begin in the childhood) and the way they capture the atmosphere... I can put my heart into it
But before I lost myself completly in swarming, I will suguest everyone who is torn about watching this show, to watch it. You won´t regret it, I promise!

I know this thread is months old, but I just thought I'd comment since I'm new here and a fan of Korean programming. But Sad Love Story stars popular actors Kwon Sang Woo and Kim Hee Sun. If you don't mind randomly clicking about Korean text, you can visit the official site here. If you have a DVD player that can read all region codes, you can purchase it at AsianDB.

Actually, Jason Park, Winter Sonata is an entirely different TV series. It stars the romantic favorite Bae Yong Jun and popular actress Choi Ji Woo, and is about a man searching for his biological father and becomes involved in a love triangle with a surprising outcome. If you liked Sad Love Story, this is another must-see Kdrama classic!!
