Since the holidays are fast approaching.
A lot of anime series have an episode that ties into the Christmas holiday.
So which one is your favorite.
Mine would have to be the Miyuki Special from Ai Yori Aoshi. It serves as a prequel to the series in which Aoi as Santa visits Karu-sama and is a very cute episode.

Whats your Favorite Christmas episode
"Like the wind crying endlessly through the universe, Time carries away the names and the deeds of conquerors and commoners alike. And all that we are, all that remains, is in the memories of those who cared we came this way for a brief moment." Harlan Ellison

I think the second CCS Christmas episode, #61: "Sakura, The Card, and Presents" is my favorite. I especially love the exchange between the star-struck Tomoyo and Sakura:
Tomoyo : My present will be something that Sakura will use to fly swiftly through the Christmas night sky!
Sakura : Do... Don't tell me it's a reindeer...
Plus the little love interest between Mirror-Sakura and Touya, who takes her shopping and actually gets her a Christmas gift, is beyond cute. Also, I love the little "hymn" that Eriol plays for Sakura on the piano (we don't often remember that he has a part-time job as the organist at the local Christian church).

I've liked a lot of Christmas anime episodes, but not many of them come to mind now. I can recall the anime HAD one, but I can't recall very much of what they were about (only vaguely).
"Christmas in Japan" having that spirit of spending time with people you're close to (esp. romantic love interests), my favorite Christmas episodes are the stories involving couples.
The six Christmas episodes I have the most fondness for right now are:
6. To Heart ~ Remember My Memories ep.? - Decent episode with the Christmas party, the confession and the snow.
5. Irresponsible Captain Tyler OVA - Nice visuals of Tyler looking for Yuriko in the Christmas crowd.
4. Maison Ikkoku ep.39-40 - Godai is investigating the rock and in the rush, also trying to buy Kyoko a Chrstmas card. The ending shows Kyoko and Godai standing on a street overpass talking to each other as the snow is falling.
3. ONE ~ True Stories ep.1 - Misaki lies to Kouhei saying that she can't come to a Christmas party because she has plans. Kouhei overhears another girl saying she didn't want to invite Misaki to her party because she ALWAYS turns her down because she doesn't want to be a distraction to everyone else. Kouhei questions Misaki about it and later the two of them decide to spend the night having a Christmas party all to themselves.
2. Tenkousei ep.4 - After having an argument at the end of episode three, the main couple is spending Christmas Eve away from each other. Eventually, after thinking on childhood (osananajimi) memories, they come to their senses and they are reunited at the end. A sweet ending.
1. Kakyuusei TV ep.11 - Can't go too much into this one since it's currently being worked on and there are too many spoilers in it. Suffice it to say it had both touching and sad elements to it. It was a bittersweet episode to be sure, but it was very memorable to me. It'll be a long time before I forget it. It's been four years since I seen it (January 3rd 2002) and I still like it so much.
I need more cels from this episode.

My favorite Christmas special is How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
OH! You wanted an anime show! Hmmm . . . It would have to be Endless Waltz. It doesn't really have much to do with Christmas but it takes place on Dec. 24th & 25th. Most of the animes I watch I don't recall having Christmas episodes. CCS does but I've only seen it once so I can't remember it well.
