What's this Gankutsuou about (don't give out too much info) .
It is a retelling of the classic story of The Count of Monte Cristo. Not giving too much there! :wink:

As an anime be ready to view the imagery in a new style.

And I again must suggest you check out Samurai 7, it's based on the Akira Kurosawa story/movie.
