Encore WAM channel starting Samurai Deeper Kyo today!

Post by hobbywhelmed »

4:30 pm is always the new ep, but they repeat at 1:30 am and 6:30 am.

Guess they finally had enough of Mirage of Blaze!

Gokusen has moved up to 4pm and going first for the repeats, and that's worth a watch too!

I didn't really like Samurai Deeper Kyo as much as I wanted...

I'm not sure why, but I stopped watching after the first 7 episodes.

Does it get better?

I saw the subbed version a long time ago. It drags while they go through the "opponent of the week" sections. But I want to get used to the dub voices, to clear up a little mystery I found at the end....

I don't know if they started at the beginning of the week - today seemed to be a couple of eps into it. Yukimura already appeared.

It's one of those shows I feel I should like more ....

Has anybody got the dvds for this? I'm wondering, because as it's showing, the figures all seem very elongated and the faces don't match the proportions you see on the rilezus. Makes me wonder if the default was really a letterbox ratio.

This reminds me of the ratio of faces you see in the store, with all the widescreen flat-panel TVs, when they use a regular tv transmission on all of them, and the faces are SOOO WIDE --
