No kidding!! To say nothing of Night Walker. I wonder why... :P

Well for an oldie, my favorite is the opening of Utena--the animation and the song lyrics just get me everytime!

My favorite ending song would have to be the second season ending of Kaliedo Star, and the animation goes well with that one as well. ("Escape" by r.o.r/s )

Eh, heh, heh! So, so true about the Nightwalker OP. Another one that just holds me captive. I can't believe I forgot to mention it. I was lucky enough to find the TB song on a CD. I'm still looking for the Nightwalker one ... but I do have the song, at least, thanks to a friend who was kind enough to send it to me. It's on my ITunes, and there are times when I play it over and over and over and ...

*ahem* Well, you get the general idea. *nervous laugh*

Gravitation's OP, Fushigi Yuugi's OP, Weiss Kreuz's 2nd OP and Fruits Basket's OP. Everytime I hear those I just want to pop the anime in. Of course, most of the time I just expect to see the anime after hearing the OPs.

Ah.... yes, the Trinity Blood opening, that is very beautiful and I'll have to look it up sometime...
Some of my fav. opening and endings are.....

Rinbu Revolution and Truth, the opening and ending from Shoujo Kakumei Utena....
Owarinai Yume (3rd op), one Day, One Dream (5th op), My Will (1st ed), Every Heart (4th ed) and Itazura na Kiss (6th ed) all from Inuyasha....
Rewrite and I Will, the 4th opening and ending for Fullmetal Alchemist
For Fruits Basket and Chiisana Inori, the opening and ending for Fruits Basket....
Reckless Fire and Drastic my Soul, the opening and ending from S-Cry-ed..
And finally Obsession, the opening from .Hack//Sign ^_^

Now if you were to say movie themes.... that is a whole different story....

Bleach #2
Trinity Blood OP
Trigun OP

I recently downloaded the OST for Trinity Blood in time for the US release of the DVDs. Looks like I'll be re-watching the series. :D

Ohhhh definitely!!! I love the music from Scryed.

The western/latin/salsa feel reminds me of another series with a unique soundtrack: Sadamitsu the Destroyer.
One of my favorite soundtracks, you'd never even guess it was anime.

Berserk, Last Exile, Cowboy Bebop, Grappler Baki (TV), Ninja Scroll (TV), FMA and I'm not big on the OP but I do like the anime so when I hear it - Kyo Kara Maoh! (TV).

There are others that I love the OP but it doesn't mean I need to see the show again - Gantz comes to mind.

Mmh let's see, the OP and Ending of Escaflowne, both opening of Gundam wing, the OP and ending of FY, the OP of Evangelion, the op and end of Trigun.

The one that I always skip and makes me want to turn off the tv as soon it's soon is the one of Utena (and so is the whole music of that anime X| )

Ooh. Both OP/EDs of Weiss Kreuz (and I was determined to hate the 2nd op song, wouldjabelieve!). The Saiyuki OPs. S-cry-ed's music definitely, with that flamenco air to it! The FMA music, GW op.

And, oh, yeah, the OP to Nightwalker --

Oh, and the OP/ED to Soceror Hunters! Very catchy!

Pretty much any song Gackt does.

As if I didn't have enough of a backlog in anime dvds, movie dvds, books, etc., now I'm realizing there's a vast untapped load at youtube! Unfortunately, the archivist spirit makes me want to be able to download them - just because -
