But just like Berserk, there was no ending to the series. Does anyone know what happens afterwards in the anime and how the whole story ends??? Just a summary would do  I will check out the manga myself later on but the curiosity is killing me. |

What Did you Think of GANTZ (SPOILER)???
I haven't read the manga as of yet, but I thought that the anime was definetly interesting and so much different than all other anime series that are released these days.
So what did you guys think overall?

Well, the first 3 "hunts" of the series follow very closely the manga and are very nice....... but the manga still goes on for many many many more hunts and if i'm not mistaken it's far from ending.....
.... but for the anime, seems that for some reason the producer didn't want to do many more episodes (probably because it was a bloody series that had to be emited at night hours, and that also had to be edited for airing in Japan).... that's why the 4th and last "hunt" of the anime is completely made specifically not based on the manga..... a way to "finish things".... and as you can see the result makes everybody cry (or laugh)
It definitely would have been interesting if they had continued the series like the manga, but there would have also been many issues, specially the dissapearance of several main characters on the 3rd hunt.
