I had a quick look and I didn't find this topic already done...I might be wrong. But oh well.
I have been having a Sailor Moon day and I was trying to figure out what my favourite episode was, then it got me thinking about what episode everyone else loved the best.
So my question is what is your favourite episode and why?
Mine is Episode 200. Mainly because I waited 10 years to see it and was so happy to see the end. I love how grown up Usagi is. And although they don't get married in the Anime, I love how they ended it. You know the thing she says at the end.....ooo I love that it ties it all up.

My favorite episode is ep.70 Confronting the Flames of Love! Mars vs Cooan
I guess from my gallery it is obvious why I love this episode ^.^ Cooan is a beautiful character and reminds me a lot of myself....foolishly falling in love and getting her heart broken! Sailor Mars became the perfect friend to pull her out of her sorrow! I really think this episode was well thought out and many of the cels are gorgeous!
So if there is any doubt as to whether this is actually my favorite episode I currently own 19 cels of Cooan from ep. 70 and a very large sketch set of her! And I am always looking to add to this collection ^.^

My favorite episode is #40 "Day of Destiny" (I'm not sure what the Japanese name is.) I love the final battle against Queen Beryl and how she gets her butt kicked.
Episode 24, the end of Neflite. I forget what the official title is. I can't count how many times I've watched this show and it's the one episode I'm still looking for certain cels from!
I suppose my favorite episode would actually be episode 126, A New Life! A Time of Farewell Destined in the Stars
Why?
That would be because of Hotaru getting her new beginning, Neptune and Uranus want to see Usagi prove herself as the Princess, and Pluto's slight return to Chibiusa to make it all better.... not to mention it was a great episode next-to-the-last-episode of my favorite season.
My favorite episode would have to be 124?? [sorry not good at recalling numbers ] "A bright shooting star! Saturn and the Messiah".
Hotaru changes in to M9 and is reincarnated into Saturn and saves the day with Sailor Moon. It seems to be well-written and layed out; plus, the art is spetacular.
I also like the fourth show of the Stars series too because it culminates Usagi's transfomation into her "true being" as eternal--something she was long long ago.
Hmmm...I know I have more than one favorite. Can't help it with 200 to choose from. But for now I will say it is a toss up between episode 197, when my lovely Tuxie dies, and the one where Usagi and Seiya go on a date. That episode cracks me up everytime!
My favorite episode is #97 - The labyrinth of water! Ami is the target. I like that one because Ami is battling to break free of the notion that she's only good at academics - something I have fought with myself.
Plus, there's lots of good shots of Ami in a swimsuit.
P.S. usamamo - you put an extra 'u' in favorite. When are you Australians, Canadians, and British going to learn the "right" way to spell that word?

None, that's a hardware problem.
Oh...can you tell? Episode 200. Although, I do like Episode 195 too just because there are some gorgeous cels of Kakyuu.
But yes, Episode 200 is my favorite. Lovely closure, great battle and excellent artwork. I suppose that's why I gravitate to cels from this episode more than I do from any other episode.
