Vampire Knight ending song/animation

I finally started watching Vampire Knight. I'm really enjoying the series so far and I am excited to see where it goes.

However, from the very first episode I've been entranced with the ending. Is it just me?

This is strange for me because I don't normally pay much attention to the openings and endings.

Something about the music and the visuals, while neither are particularly stunning, just grabs me. It feels like they put a little bit of Le Portait de Petit Cossette at the end of the anime.

Any one else notice that?

I LOVE the beginning song!! i havent paid much attention to the end credits, though. Next time i go to youtube (im on work comp now) ill watch it.
i think the series as a whole is just awesome!
