New DBZ Movie

I can't beleive no ones posted anything here about this (if they have please feel free to delete this thread).
This place used to be full of DBZ junkies (like me).

Well its the first official DBZ anime in 11 years and was created with Toriyamma.

I'll watch this on Monday ^_^ Since I'll watch it with my siblings...
I saw the op...it was hilarious!
They used the old opening, except updated them with some characters XD
Now instead of being on a vehicle, Bulma and the girls get to run for their lives XD
Maybe this will spark the studio's to create more eps????

Is the link to a clip or the full movie? I've seen the OP clip like MR mentioned. I too got a chuckle out of it. Although I see the VA are the same. Sigh....that's a shame. I can't stand the japanese VAs for DBZ.

Goku always sounds like he has yet to hit puberty.

It's been such a long time since I watched a DBZ movie.

I never liked the original intro, but I did like this edited and updated version.

How long has it been since the last time we saw Goku having those symbols on his gi and him using the nimbus cloud.

I can't wait to watch this. Thanks for the post.

And, I agree with Goldknight about the japanese VA's. I can't stand Goku and Gohan's voice actor.

I can't stand Goku's voice either. Yes I know he is gentle....but it sounds too girly (yes the voice actor is a girl) but it just feels weird @_@

One thing that I don't like is that some parts look really CG (even though they are made via CG) Some parts don't have the flow that the show had when it was made via cels, like when Goten and Trunks run to try to catch the dragon....and some other parts..not the detail it used to have (in some parts ;_;)
But I haven't seen the whole thing, so hopefully it gets better ^_^

Yeah, the CG was noticable, but they really put some thought into making this for the fans. The opening is amazing to compare it to the original movies / openings

YAY!!! thanks for the links. I finally got to watch it through. Oh how I've missed this series.

It reminds me how fun it was.

I loved watching Vegeta and Goku together in this movie. I also love how adorable Vegeta was meeting his sister-in-law.

I can't believe what has become of Anime Beta.... lol. It used to be ALL DB/Z/GT hahaha.

Too bad. I watched this special about 3 times now and I think it was done perfectly. If you watch the original Chala Head Chala intro with this new one, it actually matches up perfectly.

I thought the CG animation was done really well. Of course it doesn't look like the cel animation, but I didn't think it was bad.

I also thought the story was pretty good and the humor between Goku and Vegeta was great!

I just wish it had been an hour long instead of 35 minutes.
