IIRC, that teaser for the filler arc showed Naruto encountering the Three-tails while it was being captured by Deidara and Tobi and, apparently after having an earlier encounter with the ghost of the bijuu, vows to rescue and save him... or so I came to understand it. I do know for a fact that this is meant to expand greatly on the Three-tails and with the bijuu of and past and current revealed in the manga recently, they must have picked now to do this. |
Is Naruto Shippuuden about to go into filler mode again?

I thought that in the manga:
All the bijuu had been caught by Akatsuke with the exception of the 9 tailed and 8 tailed beasts. So getting close to the 3 tails seems off to me. |

The three-tails was captured around the time of the two-tails capture and they were sealed together. I'm not sure why they decided to omit that small detail that didn't equal to 5 total pages and make an arc of it, but I'm sure this filler will be like the others where Naruto tries to help someone and suceeds and so on, so forth... The thing for me is... there was no Jinchuuriki for the three-tails, it was a huge turtle-like creature. It's been mentioned that it could be the previous Jinchuuriki's family that gets involved with Naruto, but I really don't know. I'll certainly be watching it, if for nothing more than the manga moments. |

I just watched episode 92 and while it is a filler I noticed that it also had scenes from the manga. I thought that was interesting that it's surprisingly keeping to the same timeline as the manga and including some scenes still......though I'm still bitter over a certain absent jutsu.

That is sad but at least it's a treat every time you reread that chapter of the manga.Goldknight wrote:......though I'm still bitter over a certain absent jutsu.

*off to dl ep. 92 now*
BTW, when does the streaming a week later start? I'm not looking forward to that so I want to prepare myself mentally.

It's already started. Shippuuden episode 91 was the last episode that Dattebayo would sub(or so they claimed at the end of the OP).duotrouble wrote:BTW, when does the streaming a week later start? I'm not looking forward to that so I want to prepare myself mentally.![]()
Now, it appears someone else is subbing the new episodes. The version of Shippuuden 92 that I found made no claim as to who it is. IMO, the sub, in terms of accuracy, was not as good as DB's were, but, better than nothing...and better than paying $6.95/mo to be a member on a certain stale bread site.
Well, we're in another arc of Naruto and his training. That seems to be the pattern. Train for many episodes. Big fight lasting 2 episodes with Naruto using new technique. Train for many episodes.
Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

I got that "ep 92" too, and after the normal OP it's some way kiddie anime, NOT Naruto.duotrouble wrote: Huh?That's pretty interesting since I just dl'd ep. 92 from DB. Maybe they're starting with ep. 93 or maybe they're doing it on the sly.
I haven't read DB's comments at the end of the OP in quite a long time. I don't believe anything they say anymore. I'm just jaded.

I downloaded mine from Narutocentral as well and am very pleased with the quality. I downloaded the HD version of course and am actually happier with it than with DBs! I noticed several others subbed it on veoh/youtube rather quickly. It was nice to see Sasuke kicking butt.
