Anyone know any places to watch this anime series?

Post by gundamx2 »

Greetings.

I've been wanting to watch this anime series for a long time:

Hell Teacher Nube or jigoku sensei nube

Anyone know any places that have this series with english subs?

I checked various sources. I was able to find some episodes but not all episodes.

In Japan, there are 2 dvd boxsets, but it's so darn expensive (not to add there are no english subs).

I only know of the few episodes on the streaming sites.

Those are probably the episodes you've seen already (eps 9+)

Veoh has some (15 or so, I didn't count). I did the google search

hell teacher nube site:http://www.veoh.com

to find out what all was there. It looks like an interesting show. Thanks for the heads-up!

Yea, those are the sites I found it in too.

It seems like the fansubbers stopped subbing the series at some point or something.

I really hope someone will pick it up and continue subbing. I'll even settle for the U.S. licensing it and buying it on dvd.

I just really really want to watch the entire series. Heh.

I remember there were some subbers at one point back in the VHS era, but I dont' think they finished it. I only ever watched it in Japanese. I didn't know there were r2 dvd boxes! That's awesome! I bought one of the movies on LD back in the day (Nube dies at Midnight) but they only originally released the TV series on VHS for rental stores. I'm going to have to look into those dvds now. :D

It looks like only 15 episodes have been digitally subbed. It's pretty easy to find a big torrent of the raw episodes for the entire series + ova and movies though.

It's getting harder and harder to watch "older" anime shows.

Many of the older shows are slowly being forgotten and left on the wayside. :(

There are just too many anime to watch and most people are concentrating on newer anime titles.

Yea, it is unfortunate how some older animes get forgetten and may possibly never ever be subbed.

I guess I should be happy that at least To Aru (super cool anime) is getting subs, isn't that right, biri biri (you changed your icon; it takes me a few seconds to realize it's you now 8O )?

Oh, and thanks for the tip that the entire series is available in raw format. I never tried searching with the japanese title.

I really want to watch, but I wonder how much I will understand without subs. I tried doing this before with the anime, Kujibiki Unbalance, and, to my surprise, was able to understand most of it, but there are phrases here and there that I can't understand. And I just realized that series has already been released in the U.S.

Yeah, I thought it was time for a change. :)

I'd like to change it at least once per anime season. I used to change it every two or three weeks, but now I'm just lazy. :wow:

Usually my avatars are favorite characters, characters I like from the current anime season or unposted artwork. I couldn't think of a character I liked from the current season that felt appropriate to post so I went with Miyabi from Macademi Wasshoi:

Ah, I z. Heh. :)

My laziness is pretty high level, so my icon will probably always be the same, so everyone can see Ben Stiller as Starsky disguised as another guy. :D

Speaking of the series, Macademi Wasshoi, I tried watching that. I watched like 15 minutes of it and then stopped. I couldn't take it. For some reason, I found it very boring. 8O

Still waiting for the day To Aru finishes.

Oh is that who it was? I never knew. :D

Maybe I should create an avatar of Felli from Chrome Shelled Regios next. :messed

Yeah, I was pretty off and on with that series. Some episodes I liked and some I really didn't. I wish the show was more like the five episodes that I liked because I enjoyed those parts of it.

Should be interesting since they're past the point in the manga where I read. I hope it'll be good. He seems to be building up his harem now. Lol
