Any DBZ fans excited about the new Dragon Boxes?!
Funimation finally announced that they acquired rights to the Japanese Dragon Boxes. So they are releasing them here in the United States. Remastered from the Japanese masters (not the ones Funi have). In 4:3, not that faux 16:9 junk they did on the orange brick releases.
It defaults to Japanese with the option for English audio or subtitles. Next episode previews included, along with original open/close credits. It's absolutely 100% not fooled around with. Each box comes with an 80 page booklet and the first one is 42 episodes for $80.

... I bought a few of the orange brick releases, but quit after awhile. And I rarely BOUGHT the old DBZ dvds/sets because they were so expensive. But finally we're getting the show as it was seen in Japan, remastered. You know, they don't even SELL these sets in Japan anymore. They were a limited run.
I think I've finally found something worth buying. I know this isn't a big deal to most anime fans, most other anime wasn't treated the way DB/Z/GT has been in it's dub/releases. It's nice to finally get a release where they didn't fool around with opening music, cutting things out, etc. etc.

What was the question ?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.
