I've seen 5 times 20 seconds of the Reload series this weekend and I couldn't stop laughing. I'm referring of course to the little "epilogue extras" at the end of each show, those "urasai"-thingies.

The Doctor : … and then, just to finish off, I’m going to wipe every last stinking Dalek out of the sky !
Dalek : But you have no weapons ! No defenses ! No plan !
The Doctor : Yeah ! And doesn’t that scare you to death ?

Alright, I've got a question for you Saiyuki expert girls..
I just got the matching sketch of the Goyjo (reload) drawing I did a while back. That was fun! because I made it from the screencap and a few days later it popped up on YJ.
So, with new interest I started looking for Saiyuki douga and genga.
Now here's my question:
Why? why are they so expensive?!!
I mean, this is a long show right? lots of different series, lots of episodes, lots and lots of scribbles, doodles, roughs, douga and genga..
So it's not as if they are rare right?
please enlighten me?

I wish I knew! Gensomaden Saiyuki (first series) is not all that expensive. And, really, Reload/Gunlock is not expensive compared to some shows, like FMA or even Naruto. At least, that is what I have been told.
But, compared to GS, Reload/Gunlock are really expensive. And, I've found the sets are often not as large. It seems like, for some cuts/scenes, the studio has split them up into douga sets and genga sets, as opposed to GS, where you could get a whole cut that had douga and genga in it. I could be wrong about this ... it is just my "unschooled" observation based on what I have been buying.
Maybe Reload/Gunlock are more in demand because they are newer ...? To me, the artwork for the second series is a bit more sexy and edgy, so perhaps the character design changes have caused the artwork to be more in demand. I'm really not sure.
But ... if you figure it out, let me know! As a rabid Saiyuki fangal, I would like to know the answer to this mystery!
