One that is one ofter overlooked is Somedays Dreamers
"Like the wind crying endlessly through the universe, Time carries away the names and the deeds of conquerors and commoners alike. And all that we are, all that remains, is in the memories of those who cared we came this way for a brief moment." Harlan Ellison

Here are three. Not sure if you've seen/rented any of these or not:wELCOME cONSUMER wrote: Keropi, I don't mind adult titles. I'm trying to keep my focus in the romance genre and there are several adult titles that are on the romantic side.
Koihime (may be out of print by now

Wet Summer Days (Japanese title: "Suika"):

I'm not so much into the first episode, but thought the second episode was beautiful (even more so considering the story was so short). I liked the third episode a lot too.

ONE ~ True Stories (ONE 2nd OVA):

This was done by the same team that later created the Kanon, AIR and Clannad games. The ONE first OVA was very confusing and a mess, but thought the second ONE OVA was much better. It's about a guy that's stuck in a time-loop hidden away from reality because he didn't want to deal with the death of his sister. He needed to deal with it to return. I think he also needed someone to remember him after his disappearance. Only with those two things happening would he be able to return permanently to reality.
I think the guy's childhood friend (Mizuka) was played by Ayako Kawasumi. Mizuka was one of the best osananajimis of all-time.
