Some may omissions were baffling but it is a random you tube thing after all, but not all.

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

You listed so many of my personal favorite. It can not be helped that the new generation does not watch alot of the older anime series. ~_~Keropi wrote:About five and a half years ago I made a SVHS tape of anime Openings and Closings that I liked at the time. Some of the Openings/Closings on the tape held up better than others on repeat viewings. Some of these I don't like too much now, but rewatching these takes me down memory lane.
Here's the order I recorded them onto the SVHS tape:

They'll get to experience the same thing several years from now.iwakuralain16 wrote:It can not be helped that the new generation does not watch alot of the older anime series. ~_~

I dug up some of those I've Sound Openings. Besides the Higurashi OP I was kind of hoping that at least one of these be able to make the list:
AIR TV series OP:

Baldr Force OP:

...although to be honest I thought the Baldr Force EXE game OP had a much higher "cool" factor:

ah....there' such a horrible screen resolution on YouTube.

They seemed to put a lot of effort into the OP/EDs during the 90s. They changed the type of music as well as the animation. A lot of Obari works shined then (Rayearth, Tekkamanblade, Brave series). Can't forget SLAMDUNK either...JPOP + SanoKeropi wrote:Yeah...it seems that way doesn't it? Doesn't seem like I feel like rewatching many anime OPs the last several years. Or maybe I just need to be reminded more of the ones I liked from 2002 to 2007. By 2002 fansubs were coming in file form and it's easier for me to forget about those.RX78GP02AGUNDAM wrote:90s had so much better OPs.![]()
Yeah! Himiko-den who could forget that OP (Pure Snow):

...although the first time I seen Himiko-den was in file form (around Oct-Dec. 2002). I recall I was trying to watch all the gaming anime I could during that time.
But, I still prefer the 80s overall.
All time favorite:

Sound effects are great.
Best animation:

compare it to the 2nd OP, and you can tell the difference. Even the 2nd OP was good for its time.

Perhaps. Only just? I don't see the difficulty.
