Fave anime character final round - poll closed

Your sig is your sig. It's not part of the thread so I don't care what's in them. Heck, honestly, I have some people's sigs turned off so I wouldn't know. (older computer . . . slower speed . . you get the picture)

well, I for one like the rule, I saw tons of non-anime character images going on during the selling , especially for one particular character, and that was the deciding factor for me in choosing who to vote for in this final round, since I really don't care at all about either of these two characters.....

This round will be slightly different than the last round but mostly the same. Promoting your character, whether you nominated them or just support them, is highly encouraged. However, you may use anime images only. If someone uses images that are NOT from the anime, 1 vote will be deducted from the poll's count for each non-anime image. Sabotaging someone else's campaign by using non-anime images will cause your character to lose 2 poll votes. So bottom line, just use anime images and all will be well.

Lame.

the rule was set for all the rounds of the entire poll, Anime Images Only!! It really wasn't that difficult to understand, it was the same in the manga poll too [manga images only], I saw selling of a character with a figure of said character in a bird cage...creative maybe [in an odd/creepy sort of way] but nonetheless not the rules.....

Well, I think people are freaking out over nothing with the rules. Seriously, the rule of using anime pictures has been in effect since the beginning. Just like the manga contest, only manga images were allowed. Everyone knows the rules by now, and they have been clearly stated. Those of us who have spent the time finding the episodes, screencapping, cropping, and uploading to photobucket know it takes time, but we do it to help promote our character.

I guess if you don't like the rules, don't play the game.


OK, I'm voting for Sai.

It was nice to see Sai catch up in the last round.
I was holding my breath watching the votes come in the last few days.
And it was nice to see GK join the campaign for Sai!

First I just wanted to say that if the real pictures I used that incorporated the Laughing Man logo (which is what the whole 1st season of GITS:SAC is about) was not allowed then DT should have told me and I would have taken the images down from my photobucket account.

The rules say Anime Images only, but it doesn't say you can use the anime images photo-shopped into a real photograph. I was trying to make a funny/clever campaign that thought outside the box a little bit with the limited amount of time I had to work on it. Again, if the photo-shopped anime image was NOT allowed onto a real photograph, DT should have PM'ed me from the start and I would have ended that campaign and thought up something else.

This anger/annoyance at me (no its not all at me I know... but there sure feels like there is some my way) for trying to clear up the rules 100% is just... yeah. Its a good tactic to get someone like me to stop caring about who wins.

everyone needs to CHILL...the poll is for FUN, and it has been tons of fun all these weeks, the rules few and simple, but most of all this is FUN, my character was out with the last cut so I pushed for one of the final five, and it was FUN even tho he didn't make the final two tie, it still FUN the selling was FUN to see, alot of it was very creative and I appreciated all the work involved for the sellers, but c'mon, its for FUN!!!!
and most of all Thanks TO DT!!!! for all the hard work!!!

Hotice - I think your questions were quite valid, and I
don't see a problem with clearing things up. I think that
everyone has done a great job with the ad campaigning.

I just don't want anyone saying bad and nasty things about
either of the characters. I for one am very protective when it
comes to Sai. He is just so sweet and cute, I don't know
how anyone could say mean things.



I mean just look at that face. He is such a sweetheart.

Both characters are very different from each other, and I think
that they both deserve to win. But since only one can win,
it might as well be Sai.



So, please vote for Sai - he just so deserves to win!!
