This is becoming too sad for me. Nagisa is dead and even i hate that as much as everybody i wouldn't like and ending with Touya redoing things to get the good ending. That would be a cheap trick to use.

As for Ushio, i place my few hopes that she's not still dead and that Nagisa will be able to send her the lifeforce to recover herself. I know, that's not a very original ending but it would fit best. If she's already dead, well, i don't think any kind of "let's make a good ending trick" will be good enough for me.

Well, experience tells us that Key games/series not always have happy endings, so i'm prepared for everything

Oh well, in the end they went with the "easy trick". If they were planning to end things like this they should have spared us of all the suffering we had during the series and movie.

This ending doesn't satify me at all. Not that i'm against a happy ending but this way of achieving it is not good at all -_-

The only good thing about this episode is the new version of the "Dango Daikazoku" song.

I'm happy with the ending. Granted it was a little bit of a head trip and wrapped up too quickly and easily in one episode:
I'm so happy that Tomoya gets his happy ending. Otherwise I'd have been pissed off with such a depressing anime.

I did like that Tomoya got to change everything by no longer doubting they should have met, but it was wrapped up too fast. What was that at the end with Fuu-chan? I'm sorry but that didn't make sense at all and it took up half the episode. I'm not totally disappointed with the ending, but after 50 episodes, I was hoping for more than what they did.

Must... resist... reading...spoilers...

I won't be able to watch the final ep until next weekend (I wait for a certain group ;) ) and won't have time during the week :(

22 eps seems like a really weird number for a season. Though according to ANN, there is an ep 23 (extra episode) Was there any previews at the end of 22?

Here's hoping for another OVA to come when the final DVD is released ^_^

Series ends on episode 22. Ep 23 is like an extra episode that seems to fit early in the series.

So I finally got around to watching ep 22 (stupid real life :p ) but after seeing it there is still a question that I'm not sure was answered:

Has Nagisa been cured of her illness now? And how did the time wind back from the time of Usio's death? Was Tomoya dreaming during that time or something? I'm still a little confused (But that's nothing new with Key anime's :P

Blaster it sounds to me like you need to watch the remaining 2 episode OVAs. Especially episode #24 that just came out.

I've seen 23, but I thought 24 was just a clip show?

I'll give it a watch anyway :p

It's a clip show, but is narrated by Tomoya who starts to explain a little about his side of what happened. Based on his narration you get a feel for whether it was all a dream or whether it all happened. I had questions about the show at its end, but after episode #24 I felt that some got answered.

Ok I finally got to watching the recap ep, and a lot does make sense now. So:
We know that in Tomoya's 'happy life', Ushio doesn't have any health problems (Which is nice - she's too adorable to be sick :P ) but he didn't mention anything about Nagisa? I take it that Nagisa doesn't have her health problems anymore either? Or is it that in Tomoya's 'happy life', she never had the health problems to start with?

Would've been nice to see at least one new scene of adult/mummy Nagisa in the last ep though

I thoroughly enjoyed After Story. Even if it was really sad at times, I'm still going to miss it :(

I forgot to post about this earlier, but it looks like there might be a Kyou game storyline anime coming out:

I'd really like to see that. I've been wanting to see more anime alternate game endings since seeing the Kakyuusei TV series in 2001. Quite a few alternate game story endings have been animated since then.

Cool - I was wondering if there was going to be another OVA releases with the last DVD like the first season.
