When does HxH end for you?

Topics on anime/other animation TV series, OVAs, specials, and movies

Where does HxH "officially" end for you?

I am a purist, it ends at episode 62 with a laughing Pica.

I like tying up loose ends, but GI was over the top. HxH is over after the first OVA.

If it's got Gon and Killua it's okay by me! I embrace GI!

Unfortunately the series is on hiatus until Togashi is up to writing/drawing more. It's right now at a crucial point in the Chimera Ant Arc too. So many things can go right, and so many things can go wrong...the suspense is driving me crazy :crazy

The Genei Ryodan had a few chapters devoted to them back in chapters 224-229, and you get to learn a few of the obscure members' powers :evil2 . Problem is they haven't been seen since chapter 229, and the next chapter coming up is 261 :l

The artwork for Shonen Jump is still "eh" but some HxH in it is better than no HxH in it :P Besides, in the volumized graphic novels of HxH, the artwork is always spruced up in detail and that's what I buy :)

Here's to hoping for more HxH manga in the future. Get well soon, Togashi ^_^

I just finished the OVAs and had to agree...it's not over. Now I want to read the manga.
I want to see Gon meet his dad...glorff's comment reinforced my doubts about the man fishing being his father.

I really want to see all 4 get back together.

And I really, really want to see the Hisoka get to fight Kuroro

Like everyone said, there is too much hanging out there....but that's normal for anime, isn't it?

Okay! I must have not been paying attention or something. I thought . . . actually I believe
the guy fishing is Gon's father. I mean , everything lead up to it. It ended. It's over. He found him and now he's going to have his talk and then go on with his life knowing where he can find his father anytime Gon wants to talk to him. He looked just like the pic, etc.
That being said. I wouldn't mind seeing more HxH being made into another OVA. There's so much more they can add. Let's go back to Kurapica. Or let's go more in depth with Leorio. I want to see more Killua. I'm tried of Gon.
Can you hear this fangirl squee?!

for me it hasnt ended. kuroro(sp?)and hisoka have to have there fight. plus because of the guy from gi, you know that kurapica and kuroro are going to have to face each other again.

there is one that that i didnt like. the GI openings and endings. i want to know which person was on crack when they did these openings.

just watching the tv series made me want to read the manga. why is there certain things in the anime that werent in the manga? ie - the whole ship things after getting out of trick tower, that's not in the manga it just goes straight to hte man hunt.

I watched four episodes of it and just thought the animation was TV standard, nothing like Dragonball. I also thought the battle sequences were really poor and lacking character.

I talked to someone once about Mr Togashi- said they were at a convention and the guy was an asshole. Not sure what prompted that person to say that, but they must have had a reason. That's the exact same reason I never went to conventions, incase there was something I didn't like about the artist- it would stick, and I'd question why I wasted my time on the creation of someone who turned out to be an asshole
