Best 100 Anime Characters

Who is no. 1?

This list is definitely out....no FY characters at all, no Nuriko or Tasuki

And where's Renji or Rukia...tsk tsk

Characters frm older classic anime are also not featured e.g. City Hunter.

I cant read the tiny text, but the large text says best of the month, most likely amoung the readers of this magazine who bothered to enter. Only the top 4 characters have more than 100 votes, so this poll was done among a really really small crowd. 60 and up only got 10 votes.... :bubbles

Going off of the post above, seeing that this was done among such a small group of people, there's no way this is anywhere near accurate or represents the general consensus of opinions. It's like if someone asked you at this very second who your current favorite character is. A very up-to-date but far from in-depth poll.

But it's interesting to see, nonetheless. Thanks for the image~!

I think having a Top Characters of Anime list that leaves out “Hello Kitty” and “Sailor Moon” is like having a Top American Cartoon Characters list that leaves out “Mickey” and “Bugs”.

Yeah, even though Ichigo actually made that list, I like that second list better!

And I like the reasonings under each character. That's a huge help in understanding characters I don't know, or don't know very well.

And Klet will be thrilled to know her Urahara made the second list!

for Jin! And Maes Hughes! Eeee! Roy Mustang!

And the Major from GITS! Guts from Berzerk!
This list has a ton of good entries!
WooHOO! Vash!

And of course, Spike Spiegel! Ed and Sauske!
These are characters I can get behind and say "Yeah! They're great!"

Yeah, and you know I'm happy my Baby got 4th place here!

And I'm sure Kay and Kittens agree with the 1st place character there.

I don't agree with animage list at all... I don't think they pulled data from a wide pool of anime viewers. And although I love Hijikata, I certainly don't think he's top 50. And although I love Gundam Seed especially Kira and Athrun, I don't think they are in the top ten, especially if this was an "all time best 100".

Anyway with regards to Beta people making a list, I'd love to join.

I tried to make a list once, but I kept remembering characters I'd forgotten and I kept shuffling the names around. I gave up. If I like a character, I like a character...no need to bring math into it.
