Assuming that I'm correct...

A group of humans are stranded in a strange world due to a magical spell gone wrong. In order to go home again, they must assemble the fragments of the magical spell from the many different people that it ended up with after it misfired. Their methods of searching for the fragments end up causing them to be infamous.

Even though every romantic relationship depicted in the anime itself is heterosexual, 99% of the dōjinshi inspired by this show is yaoi; as these fans seem to want to pair the intrepid, if glum, hero, with an equally angst-ridden, gun-toting “hafu”.
