From my previous post listing above, I would watch the bolded ones first.
Sengoku Basara - humorous
Pandora Hearts - good suspense
07-Ghost - much easier to follow than the manga
Eden of the East - likeable characters so far lot of unknowns-
Tears of Tiara - surprised I like this one so much
Hanasakeru Seishonen - bishies!! Let's see if one of the guys gets the girl in this one the main character is starting to get annoying, but the guys are interestng
Asura Cryin - still deciding
La Corda d'Oro ~Secondo Passo~ wish this was longer
Phantom - Requiem for the Phantom - interesting storyline
Shangri-la- still deciding
Valkyria Chronicles - still deciding

A lot of the newer series I've been dling but haven't gotten around to watcing yet. I've been catching up on a few completed series first such as Ayakashi, Hikaru no Go and Saiunkoku Monogatari.
However, from what I have watched of the new stuff, here are my thoughts.
07-Ghost - It's slow right now but I'm really loving it for some reason. I'm extremely worried about my fave character and sadly I got a spoiler that proved me right.
Tears of Tiara - I'm typically a fan of the anime made from games. I think I'm glad I've never played this game though since it's apparently hentai and that's so NOT my kind of thing. I'm glad that's not apparent in the anime. I am enjoying this one.
FMA - Brotherhood - I'm a huge fan of the original series so I currently still hate this one. I recommend waiting a few more episodes before dling and then marathon through to the new stuff. Yeah, there are differences here and there but NOT enough for me to say anything other than "I've already seen this. Why did I just waste my time?" I also don't like the artwork as much. I'm hoping once the actual split happens I will enjoy the series but I know that won't help my taste for the art.
Dragon Ball Kai - You may think my thoughts would be the same as FMA - Brotherhood but they're not. I was never a big DBZ fan. There was too much of fighting and then 3 weeks later the same two characters are still fighting on the same planet in the exact same battle. BORING! This series is cutting through that crap and going much faster. Plus, I've never seen Dragon Ball straight through from beginning to end so this is like watching a whole new series. Now, if only Bleach would do this cause it's become quite the yawnfest.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei - Recommended only to those who have seen the first two seasons. This is season 3. The first episode was pure fanfare but the second . . . WOAH!
Excellent!
Kemono no Souja Erin - I blogged about this series. I originally started watching it simply because the main character shares my name.
However, I had also heard it was a cute children's story so I thought I'd give it a go. It's a really sweet series with some really serious events that made me question "this is a children's story?"

Guin Saga's been my favorite so far, which is funny because I started it 'cause I was bored
I love the animation, as well as the story. Fantasy and action are as always one my favorite mixes. And of course cute bishy mercenary, with a cocky attitude....can't leave that out
Sengoku Basara's probably my second favorite of the new series, hilarious with some over the top action (and come on mecha in feudal japan, what's not to love
), I just worry that it'll take a overly serious turn later which would kinda ruin the aspects I really like about the series so far.
I'm still loving Phantom, but I'm kinda biting my fingers hoping they speed some of the story along
...and still watching Tears of Tiara, 07 Ghost, and Valkyrie Chronicles, but not AS interested in them as those listed above.

At this point, I'm not as much into the anime from this season as I figured I might be. But so far I like these shows the most:
Ristorante Paradiso ---------- quite funny sometimes. I'm surprised by how much I liked it even if it is from the seinen genre.
Cross Game --------------- Adachi baseball anime. More enjoyable than I thought
Guin Saga --------------- decent adventure saga
Higashi no Eden (Eden of the East) ------- maybe I'll get back to it later. It's just not a collectible show for me so I have no incentive to watch it right away.
Pandora Hearts ---------- I liked the dark stuff. The comedy is okay too. I wish the animation budget were a little higher though
Phantom --------------- seems alright as long as you don't get an e-mail from your ISP for getting it
Valkyria Chronicles ---------- it's light-hearted military warfare. It's okay I guess.
These shows are in the middle of my list:
Shinkyoku Soukai Polyphonica Crimson S -------- much better than the first series. It's growing on me a bit.
Sengoku Basara ---------- not bad. Sometimes it's quite funny and over-the-top. The background artwork is beautiful.
Saki --------------- Fluffy, comedic mahjong. Not to be confused with drama table game anime like Hikaru no Go, Akagi or Shion no Ou.
These are the shows I hope I'll like more later. I hope:
Asura Cryin ----- I think it's a little convoluted and I wish they'd stop introducing new characters
K-ON --------------- these type of shows aren't much my taste, but I'm still watching it
Natsu no Arashi ----- the comedy is hit and miss with me. I prefer the more dramatic parts
Tears to Tiara ----- some parts I like. Other parts I find rather slow and uneventful.
Tayutama --------- I've got problems with it
Queen's Blade ----- this is hit and miss with me too. It's boobies and ISP-e-mail-for-downloading galore. Episode 4 and 6 were hits while episodes 3 and 5 were misses. Maybe I should only watch even numbered episodes.

Thanks for the tips y'all! I see several series mentioned that I hadn't tried yet, but will definitely look into them now. I've been watching FMA brotherhood albeit painful.
I have to agree....the artwork totally sucks. They are flying through the storyline, but all I keep thinking as I watch it is......."been there, done that, got the t-shirt".
Dragonball Kai I haven't paid much attention to since all they did was change the OP/ED on the episodes and re-released the exact same ones in HD. That I could careless about the storyline until the Frieza saga.

Oh. Where do you see several series mentioned that he or she hadn't tried yet but will definitely look into them?

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I have to add Pandora Hearts to my watching list now. I dl'd the first 5 episodes but hadn't gotten around to them. Yesterday, I decided to check out the first episode to see if I could clear HD space or be addicted to another series. Yeah, I'm beyond addicted right now.
So much so that I changed my avatar again to my current favorite character, Raven.
