In this anime there are 'Yaka'. They are immortal and are burnt by sunlight. The main character spends a lot of time taking pictures at all hours of the day.

One, in pursuit of a year of free food, while the other, desperate to win an object of his desires, which was so close within his grasp long ago. A challenge is made, involving the new generation to fight in their stead.

Thanks! I was pretty sure I was right, ‘cause it fits the description. But then, there could always be some show I don’t know about that fits even better.

Next:

Though it’s not unheard of to be overwhelmed by grief at the death of someone close, it’s not really healthy to lose one’s own identity; even if that is what most of those around us desire.

Ack! No takers?? 8O

Hmmm…. /hmm I’ll leave the psychological underpinnings then, and hew closer to the plot. /ok

A flexible sense of identity might be a useful thing, however, when you are working as a member of a highly select group of spies; directly under, and only answerable to, his Majesty (who has an identity surprise of his own).

The Three Laws of Robotics:
1. A robot may not injure a human being, or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Le Chevalier D'eon!!!
Yay! Great Show!

Just in case I got that right...

The name of this show is also the name of the label that a group of fashion students create their designs under.

And away we go:

Having a Father and Grandfather who are the top Robot Scientists has its ups and downs. You don’t get to see much of your absentee Father, but to keep you company, Gramps can build you your own older brother.
