Just finished watching ep. 29... I have to say that Bleach sure took a while to get really interesting, but now I like it a lot. And I can tell there's some good stuff to come...

Quick colour question concering at least the 18 first episodes :

Am I correct in thinking the coulour scheme changes when the action takes place in the "soul realm" and everyone involved in the scene actually knows about the Hollows.

It seems that if that is the case, all colours are much brighter and everything seems to be bathing in light.

... of course my tv could be on the blink.

Yes, you're correct. The sky also seems to change to a dark blue-to-yellow gradient. Do not adjust your TV

Man, I am sooooooooo completely had by this show!

Just got through with 39 (thanks, keropi!

) and. . . I never realized before how much I absolutely LOVE two guys really goin' at eachother with katanas!

Oh, you should have heard the squeal that came-out of me when the fight really kicked-up and Ich got that slash in across the captain's face. I was all, "eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Yay!" Honestly. Out-loud. Too funny. And then when Ich gets all powered up *fans self* there at the end and there's a big ol' boom. Gawd, I love the booms! *ahem* ANYWAY. . . .

Okay. Now I'm off to bed to dream about how I nurse my poor Ich back to health. Poor guy.

Shoot...I've watched the second half of Bleach 39 seven or eight times in the past 3 days. The second half was very cool.

On another note...I've heard about Yachiru being scary when she's pissed and we got to see some of that.

Kisara, I was definitely thinking of you at a couple of points during the evening last night when I watched it

("Bet THAT shot got an 'oooh!'")

Right about the middle of the episode there were a couple of shots, first of Ichigo and then the sword guy (sorry... so hot here brain has gone fizz) that were SO fodder for rizeleu cels. Yum, yum, and let me just emphasize the point... Yum!!

at the end. lol I'm so very glad I've read the scanlations or y'all would have to deal with a thoroughly depressed gal today.

And how terribel is it that, not only do I have this MASSIVE crush on Ich, but now his katana as well?

I'm such a freak... I downloaded the episode by Hell-fansubs because it was the first one up and I couldn't wait to watch it.

However some of the translations were a bit off (not bad for a single guy doing it all and so quickly!), and he didn't sub the preview for the next episode (which are usually so funny) so when Lunar's version went up today, I downloaded that one as well.

I don't normally consider myself a huge anime geek, however after today I think it's plain to see it's all denial.

On a side note, I don't think I've enjoyed a series this much since Hikaru no Go or Hunter X Hunter (don't remember which I saw more recently... both quite a long while ago). I can't wait for the next epsiode!

The ending just killed me... waiting a week to see what happens? Yikes! I really really like the fact that they have long, multiple episode fights without the usual DBZ-esque tactics of spending half the episode with one of the people just explaining what their next attack or power up will be and why it will own the other person.

Most shows use that format to make epic fights last several episodes, it's such a nice change to see Bleach use other methods, like the whole building world with his sword guy. I also liked how the Captain said 'there are so many things I want to ask you, like how you can have such strong spirit force but not like fighting, but right now I just want to enjoy the fight' or something like that. SOOOOOO nice not to sit around wondering why in the middle of a major fight both sides stopped to explain their motives and actions for 20 minutes!

It was like the writers read my mind on what annoys me with other fighting shows and not only didn't do the same thing, made a point of mentioning they weren't doing the same thing!

i just thought ichigo was going to win, you know, hes the good guy. then the smoke clears and he says "sorry everyone" and falls. i was like "WHAAAAAAATTTT!!!!!!!"

I've been collecting and burning Lunar's Bleach subs up to this point. I first watched Bleach Society's subbed version of episode 39 and then watched Lunar's afterward when it came out. Everyone has their own preference in translations, but it was kind of jarring to watch Lunar's second since all that slang talk was in their translation. Everyone talking with apostrophes kind threw me off. Sometimes a few lines of Lunar's translations of Bleach are a bit more cumbersome to read than they probably should be. They're just being more literal I guess.

On the other hand sometimes Bleach Society's lines were hard to understand too like the "His power is all messed up." What does that mean? ?^_^?

Anyway...I'm not normally picky about translations. I don't think I would even be thinking about these things if I didn't feel the need to watch three different versions of the same episode as soon as they came out.

Shows how obssessive I am about Bleach I suppose.

Hell Fansubs...is that the Chihiro guy under a new name?
