I had a lot of Japanese cultural influence growing. I lived on Guam for a few years. I learned to eat with chopsticks before I learned to eat with a fork. Those kinda things. I have also always loved animation and art. So for me it was quite natural to enjoy anime. The stories are more realistic than American cartoons. People actually die that you care about. Some animes make me think about things I might never have considered. I like that.

And the bishies! :P
Can you hear this fangirl squee?!
