Where does HxH "officially" end for you?

I am a purist, it ends at episode 62 with a laughing Pica.

I like tying up loose ends, but GI was over the top. HxH is over after the first OVA.

Okay, I've been discussing this with several people and, though I haven't made it through all of the third HxH OVA, I have realized that Greed Island doesn't exist for me. Greed Island is Dragonball Z meets Magic: The Gathering and it's beginning to annoy me (PLUS, hardly any Pica! :x)

I'm on the fence about York Shin since I really liked the way the series ended, but I LOVE the extra Pica angst.

SOOOoooo, I was wondering, where does the series end for you? (or where would you have liked it to end?)

I'm with RX. :) There's still a whole story arc past G-I Final that hasn't yet been animated, and the manga is still running in Japan, albeit haltingly.

It ain't over yet! And it had better NOT be over until Hisoka finally gets his fight with Kuroro, or I'm going to be reeeeeeeally disappointed. :dgrin :dgrin :dgrin

I went with option 2. GI just didn't work out for me.
But I too wanted to see more of the Ryodan (okay... more of Shizuku :love2 who looked beautiful in GI), Hisoka and even that side story with Senritsu.
I've always found the episodes with Senritsu en Kurapica working together quite interesting... (bit like watching Starksky and Hutch... don't ask :^^: )

I'm glad to hear HxH has not ended yet.
I too did not like Greed Island X|

It just dragged and dragged! :cry:

My favourite part of HxH is (of course) the York Shin epic. :love2

And I agree with the minion here, Hisoka definitely has to get his fight with Kuroro :wink:

is it pronounced "hunter 'X' hunter" or "hunter versus hunter" "hunter times hunter" ....? /...
It has always bugged me that I dunno how in the world you say it properly, so when I refer to the anime, rather than embarrassing myself I just say "hunter"

...

There's MORE?????? :hello YAY!!!!!! Hisoka HAS to get to fight Kuroro!!!! And why the %@&%%$ did they bother giving Senritsu backstory if no one is gonna help the poor guy (girl?) find his/her sonata???? X|

I might like Greed Island more if I knew there was something more tolerable in the future. I mean, after York Shin I wanted something more light hearted and funny (like the hunter exams) but GI wasn't it.

I want the four of them back together again!!!!! *stomps feet*

Although.....I can't really hate a series with naked Hisoka too much! :P

Agreement on the "at least three" thing -- I have to admit that I'd be perfectly happy if the series continued without Captain Angst (aka Kurapica), but I reeeeeeally miss Leorio.

Hey, what can I say? If I wanted to be neck-deep in self-inflicted angst, I'd watch a Gundam series. ;)

Gimme more of the lighthearted stuff, and lots more really BIG fights, and I'll be a happy viewer indeed. :D :D :D
